How we keep this site open to everyone, and how to reach us if anything stands in your way.
We want everyone who visits Arjé to move through the site with ease, to read about our makers, look closely at a piece and place an order, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of how each page is made.
Every photograph of a piece carries a written description, so a screen reader can describe the object, its material and, where it matters, the room it sits in. We add these as new pieces and stories arrive, so the descriptions grow with the collection.
The site keeps evolving, and there may be places where it falls short of these guidelines, from the contrast of a small label to the way a moving image behaves. We look at each of these with care and refine them as we go.

Let us know the page you were on so we can look at it closely. We answer Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm EST, and allow up to 48 hours for a reply.
