Since 2016, Spanish artists Raquel Vidal and Pedro Paz have been creating one-of-a-kind sculptures by hand under the moniker CANOA out of their studio in Valencia. Of their creations they say their work is "not defined by a concrete movement but is shaped by the sum of them, as a kind of palimpsest."

This glazed stoneware vase features delicate brass and silver details, a fusion made possible using unique foundry and metal processes for a piece that feels somehow ancient, timeless, and modern at once.
